Hi! I’m Terry and I’m a relaxed & natural Chelmsford wedding photographer in the awesome County of Essex.
I live in Laindon (close to London, both in name and distance), which is in South Essex with my wonderful wife, Hayley and my three adorable kids, Kyle, Reilly & Elise. Oh and our attention seeking Cockapoo, Rhemy, who normally gets a tad over excited when meeting new people (if you know what I mean ;) ). Therefore meetings with wonderful bride & grooms normally take place somewhere where fresh clothes won't be needed!
My favourite things in the world are meeting new people and Photography, and when I’m not shooting weddings you’ll find me spending time with my family and enjoying life.
My Photography Style
The things I am not - I am not a documentary wedding photographer, Though that isn't to say that I don't take candid images, and look for moments! I am also not a traditional wedding photographer, but that doesn't mean that I won't take images of your family or you guy's cutting the cake!
For me, being a Chelmsford Wedding photographer is far more involved than being just a reportage wedding photographer, or a traditional & formal wedding photographer - it is more than that!
I don't restrict myself to either one style or another. For me it is simple. I photograph from the heart to the heart, creating natural moments that are led by emotion - after all isn't that what weddings are, an emotional journey? So, in a nutshell, my style is all about working without being confined to one style or another, and to work in a style to where my heart leads me, naturally and emotionally.
My love of people is what inspired me to become a wedding photographer. I’ve been a wedding photographer for 3 years and I absolutely love it, with that said my journey in photography started when I was just 12 years old.
The best thing about being a wedding photographer is that I get to meet loads of new people and capture emotional and natural moments for bride & grooms.
My journey with you may only last a day, but the memories I help create will stay with you for a lifetime, and that for me is the real satisfaction of my vocation. The thought that those vivid moments of your wedding day will be seen by eyes not yet made is a wonderful thought.
Your wedding is all about marrying your best friend. You don’t care about worrying about the little things that don’t matter or having all the “things” – you just want to have an amazing time with your best friend, and have those memories as a timeless heirloom.
My couples love having a good time, and the last thing they want is a photographer who takes over their wedding day and makes them pose all day.
If this sounds like you, and you don’t think I’m a total idiot (or maybe you do and you like it!) then get in touch below!
